Bassett SM14/M1A Scope Mount

Got my Basset mount yesterday... ordered Oct. 1, received Oct. 8... that's 5 business days
Bassett replaced the mount at no charge. They indicated that the mount I sent was several generations old and not worth fooling with. Round trip replacement time was 3 weeks. Great folks to deal with, very responsive, dedicated to maintaining a good reputation and a high level of customer satisfaction.
"The mount you bought was a very old mount…one we have made several minor adjustments to since. No matter how old it was, the pins should not have come out. While Bill realizes the previous owner could have purposely knocked the pin out, he opted to replace the whole thing. Hope you enjoy it."

Can't go wrong with that. Looks like my mind is now made up. Definately a Bassett for me. Probably will pull the 3x9 Bushnell off my Enfield for it. Now to decide on which type......
I just noticed this thread and I've linked to the one I started when I thought I was the first person up here to get one LOL. Lots of rounds thru the 305 now and no problems with the mount at all. This one I have is the older version which can be a bit long on eye relief. Cheers
