No! Just got turned around just east of Cache Creek. Apparently you can get through Barriere-Little Fort.

We just got into 100 mile house. Make sure you fill up your rides before hitting town. They are apparently starting to run out of diesel and premium. Town seems fine, aside from some smoke on the horizon. Highway 24 is clear.

Four of us just passed the checkpoint at the hwy 99/hwy 97 junction, so far so good.

The Saskatchewan crew has arrived at our hotel in 100 Mile. So far so good, coming in from Clearwater, no closures.

A fire evacuation alert has been issued for 100 Mile House. It is an alert- not an order but it's not a happy situation.

There's only one route out open out of LB. Ash is falling. Air is smoke filled.

One day down, pretty great times had by all! Even the ones complaining, I'm sure deep inside are glad to be here. And the authorities haven't kicked us out yet.

Had a ton'o fun today. Hot n dusty but good stages and things went smoothly, at least on our squad. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Looks like we made it out of there just in time. 100 mile house has now been evacuated. I hope everyone stays safe and makes it home. And for the locals I hope the fire misses you!
