i think that today a bc dream hunt is in the Yukon.
yes we do not have huge quantity of boar grizzly but still OTC, we do not have rocky or california bighorns but we have dall ...
and for most it OTC and still and so far not that much hunting pressure if you do a little of planning ....
aren't non Yukon residents required to go thru a lottery process to be able to hunt or has something changed?
I had big plans to hunt up there a few years ago as I have several friends in the Yukon. That year they put the licenses on lottery and then reduced the available numbers in subsequent years. I suppose anyone can go and pay an outfitter but a guy can't just buy non resident license and tags and go hunting can they?





























BC is a gigantic place within 10% the size of Ontario and largely mountains, with 1/3rd of the people and 19 of the 29 North American big game animals in habitat from true rainforest to true desert. Nowhere else in North America has as varied of habitat or game animals. Few BC residents see all, I certainly haven’t. Yukon is utterly spectacular too.
