Bc hunter charged with assault at illegal First Nations blockade

I know this isn't new news, but I haven't seen this posted here before. Apparently this poor fella cut down an illegal blockade and proceded to drive slowly around it when one of the gentlemen from the blockade stood in front of his truck.

I actually didn't read the Facebook post or even notice that it was the band that posted it. He posted a thread on hunting bc looking for donations for his trial, which is coming up soon. I wasn't looking to push along donations, more of a discussion item. I'll try and post a link to the other thread, or take a screen shot of his story and post it here.
 
Not sure how he could be charged. It is written right in he regs that it is unlawful to impede upon someone legally hunting. Why aren't the FN people being charged with impedeing on his legal hunting?

Messing with the FN is like messing with the moderators, you are going to lose every time. No matter how correct you are.
 
Boy, I'd sure like to see this go to court.
And some charges laid against the blockage folk too.
The crown really needs to take a real hard look at the b/s that is going on.
It's long overdue for the pendulum to swing the other way.

Never happen, any legal action against let alone convictions of FN people is racism , didn't ya know?
