BC leh results are out

Missed out on a shared Moose hunt, but I got a doe draw for 3-42. Yay! Odds were really good for that region though, 1.6:1 last year.

Vancouver island elk, I would rather save my luck for 649. The others have been Caribou moose...good odds, and doe ....very good odds.

My last draw was Moose near Clinton. The year they had a big fire, Moose....phhh...not so much as a songbird. Gave up, went mulie hunting.

Ouch. My group got lucky with a moose draw last year... and then we got a big snow storm the night before we headed up making all the high country completely inaccessible unless you have a snowmobile (which we do not, they're not exactly common things in the GVRD) so I feel your pain as far as mother nature fkin' up your hunt plans. We had spent hours scouring maps and talking to people, all for nothing...
 
Nothing for LEH, oh well just means I can focus on getting more than one deer this coming season.
