Sometimes I really wish we didn't have so much gorgeous country available to us here in the interior as it is impossible for one person to really get to know all of it intimately. I - and most hunters I would wager - tend to reapply over and over in the same areas we feel comfortable in.

I got skunked...but I can't complain too much. I really thought i had the Kamloops lake late sheep draw all sewn up... yeah, me and 900+ others!!

My pops got skunked as well...

My wife lucked out and drew a cow moose, first time applicant!! So gettin' her out chasing moose this fall will be fun.

NIL soup for me again. However, my Dad drew a moose - again. Believe it or not, that is two years in a row for Dad. I wish he would use some of that luck on the 6/49 instead.

Archery Elk 1-06 Either ###. This is the second time I have been drawn for elk on the island. This should be interesting, seeing as how I have never bowhunted before.

Also got antrlerless mule deer in the same area

two out of five not to bad I guys.

This is a new area for me.

Got the shared hunt for moose in region 5 and a bison draw! I'm gonna need a larger freezer.

All I can say is start planning now. Might include in your planning some thought toward bridge building. Alot of guys with bison draws have experienced access issues by just showing up with out getting it figured first. I am no expert but if your on the other side of the halfway it could be tough sledding (literally)
