SMOKING MOOSE MEAT
The simples is to hang your moose like usawal well hunting just not so high cover meat in black pepper to keep the flys off your meat
make an A frame lean-to aroand your meet out of tree braches over the meat
Make a small smoky fire I use either alder or coten wood on one end of
Lean-to don't let it get hot(lots of air and smoke in your lean-to is a good thing) your not cooking the meat just smoking it lightly
If it hot smoke for 6 hr
If it's early in your hunt and need to save the meat you need a heavy smoke
Like all thing nothing is free the longer in the smoke the dryer and tuffer the meat but I like smoked moose meat
And bone out your meat it is simple way to save and pack out your meat

With a bit of work you can smoke and dry out a entire moose and pack it out as a one man show but that's a lot of jerky but better then wasting it
