BC Tactical Precision Rifle Championships 2006 Course Of Fire

Pardon the newbie question, however its coming from a newbie.

For "Gun Rundown"

Partner shooting containment rifle. Would this be a serivce type rifle? ie: AR10/15 type? Is this the only part of the precision rifle shoot which requires the partner shooting?

Does the partner spot you through both days or just the final day with the long range events.

Next question is are their indivdual categories or is the event done as a team exclusively?

Sounds like many here have done this once or twice. Any advice for someone looking to give it a whirl??

Glad you guys like it.I hope to see tons of people out this year.Anyone from out of town that needs help with places to stay should let me know and I'll point them in the right direction.We may even have some free bunks.I'll have to find out.

On another note.So far we have prizes from Darren at One Shot Tactical back east and Dave's Surplus out here along with some personal donations.
Also there will be a mag conversion done to someones remington 700 by Grens Vegter as a prize.Worth at least $500.He did an amaizing job on mine and someones going to get VERY lucky.Get your entries in NOW!
 
Ok there is not enough #### slinging going on in here. you guys suck, all of you! seriously, we need to get this thread pumping.

On another the 2nd Annual BBQ is at my house on Friday the 23nd after sight ins are done. Figure start around 5pm or so? I have a nice big gas BBQ so bring your meat and beers. PM for info, or talk to me at the range on Friday on how to get here. There is a Save On Foods just down the hill from me, and you can see the road leading to the range from my deck. Hell with a nice scope you watch people heading to and from the range and get their licence plate numbers if you want.....
 
Hey slavex what are you going to be shooting this year?,We know longshot will use his remmy,unfortuntaly the rifle I used last year is not around and my new rem 700 will not be back in time (new barrel).So this year I am bringing a garand in .308
 
My TRG-22, which if you need a rifle and we aren't on the same relay, you can borrow if you like. I heard about your fancy schmancy new toy, sounds cool!
