So mine has been 2 days, I called the 1800 number and she said its still at the Chief firearms office, I asked if they had a estimate of length and she said usually takes 5-10 business days..?
Is there another number I can phone, because she certainly didn't do anything for me haha.
What number are you guys calling where they are approving it for you right there when you call in?
just over 3 months now on a transfer and when I renewed my PAL that was pushing over 5 months, friends and range acquaintances are seeing varying times but many are having similar experience from what I hear
I have, doesn't help I have called once or twice a week even for the renewalJust call, really, they don't even put you on hold for that long anymore, at most I've waited 5 minutes.
So basically a 10 minute call and you have your transfer, your statt...

Purchased a Beretta 92a1 on a friday a couple of weeks ago (first ever restricted purchase). Called in to the BC CFO immediately after getting into my car, go through in 20 minutes. The agent asked if I wanted to take the gun home that same day. I said yes, and she sent me the transfer papers and STATT for that same day. Return to the store 40 minutes later, and everyone was dumb founded, I was like some legend. Mind you the agent she kept saying to me that it was a "special favour" and that they don't normally do this. Couldn't tell if I was on with one of those ### chat lines or the CFO.
Lucky first experience I guess!
