Are you kittin me right meow. We whent off the specs of the gen 1s. So yes they did exsist. And now the guys that bought the gen 1s just got a big FU. Seriously. How many people wouldve bought Gen 2s instead ? Im sure a bunch of people wouldve rather of waited for the updated desing.

This dosent suprise me after all NEA did get banned from here because of their shananigens. LoL.
 
I thought I read somewhere that SFRC said that there was no Gen 1 or 2.... just some ambi crap to be added. Now it seems as though BCL may have misled SFRC. But then again, I might have missed that post, as there are a #### ton of people asking the same ####ing questions over and over again.
 
I'm not crazy about the raised bit forward of the ejection port cover. This is ####ing with my plans if they send me a Gen 2 upper.

I think the gen 1 is turning out to be a nice unicorn ar 10 nr upper that doesn't have proprietary parts. Debating picking up one of the gen 1s but waiting to see if I win one lol. If you have 2k worth of parts you might be better off buying a gen 1 off the ee. If I end up winning I'll buy some of your parts.

I waited for black Friday to get a deal on the slr handguard only to find out it won't fit but luckily was able to cancel my order.

I wouldn’t be ordering replacement barrels for the next batch until the guns are in people’s hands. Remember they tweaked the guns a bit due to suggestions etc and I’d hate to see people stuck with barrels they can’t use. I’m not saying this is the case but I wouldn’t chance it yet.

and the silence from sfrc is really telling on their complacency regarding the issue. doubt anything will change from sfrc/bcl.

they've lost my business until this clears up. But they already have my money so doubt they care.

Yup about barrels and stupid ambi crap. Thats why I havent ordered a barrel yet. Wonder what else they screwed with.

But making retarded proprietary handguards blows my mind.... LoL I see a few hours of milling time at the machine shop in my future. Thats not cheap either...lol

Ya, that dirty manufacturer screwing with their #### on everyone's #####ing...... I remember when AR's had plastic #### on em and fixed iron sights, oh and we just bought em and they were ok. Now we have a non restricted AR10 and we're going ballistic #####ing about them. I can't wait for the whining over the AR 15's beeing produced next, or if another AR10 gets built. You guys wonder why we ended up with a retarded pseudo male for a prime minister? Just look at your endless whining about this ####. If you don't like the bloody gun buy something else. I'm sure something will be along shortly, all the NEA haters have told me so.

#####ing is the new "cool kid" sport on CGN. I find it mildly entertaining in moderate measure, but tire of it quickly. If I want whining I just tell my son that he can't borrow the car.... ��

since they changed the model between preorder 1 and preorder 2 the information in the thread is IRRELEVANT. That's the whole point of why we are #####ing, all that info is useless!!!!!!!!!!!
 
The thing is they said there was only going to be colour options and ambi bolt release added, all the other jabber was discussed after the 2nd preorder was done.
Now the gun is coming out looking completely different, and may perform completely different, whether it be good or bad.

What should have happened, they should have stated that this was a pre-order on the 2nd GEN, not a 2nd pre-order.
That way people would know that there was obvious changes being made.
