As far as I'm concerned SFRC is right in it with BCL. He even changed the original add on his web site from late September to early to mid October. Don't tell me your one and only distributor in Canada isn't in the loop of what's going on.
If they got feedback saying we want a proprietary handguard that we cannot change ever. Thats BS
I bet you anything the Gen3 will feature a handguard back to normal as an ''improvement''
I really can't even believe it, I can't believe I bought a rifle that when from customizable to proprietary and I can't believe BCL is actually going to ship us this product.

But they changed their name to Black Creek Labs. So it’s all good now.
I trying to figure out who was #####ing about handguards slipping or rotating that they needed to make such a change. Other than their accounting department....
I looked on the two FB pages, and there was nothing.
I would have figured that if they made any changes, it would be to the inner workings and make sure that the ####ing rifle worked properly. No gassing issues, no BCG issues, no sharp ####ing edges. Instead they change the out design of the rifle.... kind of like putting lipstick on a pig....its still a pig. BCL needs to sort their #### out, and stop BSing people.

Ive been with her for 18 years, you think I would've put up with a crazy wife that controls my life...lol... it goes both ways tho! she does what ever the heck she wants as well. 1 bank account 2 paychecks, Once the bills are paid we have fun.
Some guys on here seem to need the wife's approval to do stuff... must suck to be them... lol... Same as the retards that say " I told my wife this 1000$ gun is worth 300 " that shows me they disrespect themselves and their significant other and that is also pretty lame.
back on track here, that close up of the receiver to handguard is a cluster**** of epic proportions. The rail also seems to be extended pas the receiver....... hahahahahha
The Gen 1's will actually be a sought after rifle for builders ..lol.

This is what worries me. Is it better off to wait for gen 3 and hope they return to a normal handguard?

At this point if you haven't parted with any money I'd wait and see if they can actually get their sh!t together.
all the fanboys in the other thread seem to like the idea of proprietary parts. lol. Must be something in the water where they live...lol...
NEA needs this cash-cow to produce. They never cared about the customer when they were here shilling. they only care about making money.
They're happy because their wife won't let them spend more than what the rifle originally cost and now you can't make yours better than theirs.
Not sure what their policy is like for canceling pre-orders and getting a refund but I don't think anything would send a clearer message than a large number of guys canceling the day after they released the pics of the Gen 2.
Hahahhaah, I didnt plan to show up anyone actually. I just like nice crap and work extremely hard for it. And im the first one to lend someone my rifle if they want to try it along with ammo. Also the first one to send people free crap if they are in a bind.
So all these little snowflakes on here that dont have the balls to come out and meet me when I hit the range and say that crap to my face dont bother me... they are busy taking orders from their wife's anyways.... lol...

I am just asking from the point of usability, I dont know havent had much time behind firearms yet. The M305 is better for my pocket book, but, the 102 looks cool as all hell...
