... and change to entire design so that the rifle is no longer even the same rifle that was promised

might as well charge 3000$ and give people a pineapple and say what? you preordered so you knew the risk, here is your pineapple

You have to admit taking something that was customizable and modifying it so that it is no longer customizable is either:
1 going full retard
2 corporate strategy to milk us out of our money to marry us to their ####ty after market products once they just sell the upper and lower

No see, you're just whining and #####ing mikethebike.
Anyone with a very valid criticism of this entire gong show and this classic conduct of our fly by night domestic AR15 company is just a whiny ##### is what I'm being told lol
I love the name change too "No you must be mistaken, we're not NEA. That company had some serious issues! See here you fools, we're now officially BCL. Now everything is going to get better and better!"

Oh, thanks, but I already came out with gen 4 design, so you're on the gen 4 preorder now.

Here's a picture of gen 4, I have improved the design

Hahahahaha
This thread is now officially golden dynamite

Don't just whine about it do something. Cancel your pre-order and demand 100% refund. They have changed the product to something different than what you agreed to when you put your money down. To me that is grounds to cancel without penalty. If SFRC tells BCL that 30 guys just canceled their order because of the new changes they've made to the design BCL would have to be in full retard mode not to realize they made a mistake and need to communicate better before changing things so drastically after only releasing 77 rifles in the first batch.
Correcting issues that were causing poor reliability or changing things slightly to improve the ergonomics is one thing but a total revamp after taking customers money is ridiculous.
I was hoping the gen 2 would ditch the stupid "match" chamber, turn the barrel down to a little lighter profile, and maybe skeletonize the handguard a little more for some weight saving and of course hire a better monkey trainer for the QC department. If that was all that was done I would have been in line for the following batch but these guys are so unprofessional it's hard to even consider giving them any money. Last time I checked they didn't even have the 102 on their website yet they post info on Facebook? WTF?

Now that I’m back in the office and can properly reply to stuff, why is everyone talking about there being an anti rotation tab. The handguard fits on the exact same way as the other one. The difference is there is some material added to the sides so that the stock handguard blends in better. Remember the stock handguard covers a bit of the upper...it slides over it a slight bit.

Ryan

I don't think it will be that easy to remove the top tab. If you blow the picture up, it looks like the top rail on the receiver extends and possibly overlaps the upper rail on the handguard at an angle (could be wrong).

I doubt that any handguard offered out there will fit the all new BCL 102.

I bet the upper receiver and handguard will integrated on the gen 3 102's....

Well since your chiming in here Ryan. Why don’t you do the following:
1) figure out what changes have been made to the rifle. Then let people know.
2) get a real eta for these rifles.

This is a joke. Clearly it’s the same BS with BCL as it was with NEA. We’re the big shot manufacturer and we don’t have to talk to the
Common folks.

TWK

This is the first thread I have ever felt suited this emoji^
Now I know why it exists! If Ryan is right, and the upper is unchanged and the handguard just overlaps a bit, just thisnk about how funny this thread is... :p

It is pretty funny...especially when you get comments like this;

That's cool, I guess I'm blind. Anyhow so you are saying that the typical handguards owners bought and installed on the older 102's will indeed fit the new BCL 102?

You locked down the thread on your page without answering a few questions.

Were you aware of all these major changes to the 102? I mean these changes are obviously why there has been a 2 month delay...

As we said, we’re just waiting for the uppers to get back from paint.

Once they are here we’ll start shipping them in the order that they were ordered, be it dealer or individual. Do you have order in with us?

I posted that there would be ambi bolt releases and I’ve told dozens of people there would be flared mag wells and some slight changes. The only thing I wasn’t aware of was the change in shape of the she’ll deflector but we shipped lots of guns with one that looked similar. I even posted pictures.

As far as I know they will fit but I haven’t tried one. I’m sure lots of other parts fit as well. BCL recommends BCL parts be installed just as Remington recommends that you only use Rem Oil in their guns.

Lol so the tantrum was for nothing? How predictable.

Thanks Ryan for keeping a cool head while these idiots ranted about something they know nothing about. I suspect this endeavor has been more of a pita than you could have ever imagined.!

You were sold out so I paid in full with another retailer who I just emailed looking to cancel my order and get a full refund. Still waiting to hear from them. Unfortunately you're the only one who is able to communicate with BCL and you are the exclusive Canadian distributor for BCL rifles, so unfortunately you get to hear it from everyone. Other than the ambi bolt release, I didn't see anything posted at all about any other changes. I suppose if I waded through numerous threads and hundreds of posts I may have seen it, but frankly BCL needs to get their sh!t together and actually communicate with the customer, you know, the people shelling out their money.

This coming from the guy who lost his sh!t on delivery then drove 6 hours to go pick up his rifle. Ya I imagine it's a pain in the a$$ because it's a joke. Two months behind on delivery, and changes being made to the rifle which even Ryan admits he was unaware of. Don't post pictures and description of a product then delay delay delay then say oh ya they made changes I didn't know they were making.

Go make another lame YouTube video, seeing as this really has nothing to do with you unless you've bought a second rifle on this order.

That's what happens when you do business with a company that doesn't give a sh!t about the customer.

We post updates about once a week or so. Yes I wasn’t aware the shell deflector was reshaped a bit...I don’t think that’s really a big deal. Once again, we’re just waiting on the paint shop to finish the uppers so we can get the guns out the door.

Another 75 uppers get dropped off today followed by 75 lowers then 75 handguards. Every week, which has been happening for weeks, 60-100 of each get dropped off which will create a constant flow of guns. Once the initial delay is caught up to, there is a continuous supply.

This is a complaining whining thread, so if you don't like complainers or whiners why are you reading this?

This idiot believed from this picture that the hand-guard would not fit. If I made a mistake in thinking that, it is a fair mistake, perhaps not a mistake after all either. Depends on the angle but it sure does look like we have an issue here, but hey I'm an idiot so I could be wrong.
