Take a look at how that Samson hg fits. If you look closely you’ll see that bcl modified the upper receiver slightly so that is flows better with their hg but aftermarket hgs that were fine on the first batch will be just as fine on this and subsequent batches. No grinding required.
ya, much better situation than originally thought. At last the top rail sites flush but you still have a gap between the flange and handguard. No a huge deal to leave it like that or modify the aftermarket handguard with a notch so it sits flush like the BCL. All good overall.

I’m on the second preorder and have a chance at winning the gen 1 demo gun. Delays are to be expected and I don’t give a ####. Nothing can irk me about preorders after I waited for years on canam’s original type 97 preorder only to have canam raped by the RCMP when they prohib’d the whole shipment.
The tantrums here are awesome in this thread though, especially since the whole “anti-rotation pin” handguard hoopla turned out to be nothing. Lol.
Lol, I was tempted to buy a T97 from that shipment, glad I don't do pre-orders.
I love the tantrums and feeding the fire. CGN has been full of pre-order whining lately so I've just been having fun while waiting for it to blow over so we can get back to actually talking about guns.

Done, but I had that before the 102 was an option. Still glad I went with the MH. It won't stop me from eventually buying one of these as well if BCL gets their sh!t together and improves their QC department.

I love it when businesses “fire” their customers. As much as you have a choice on where to spend your hard-earned dollars, a business should have no qualms about telling a disruptive customer/potential customer to hit the road.
I can't say I'm surprised at SFRC ####ting the bed somewhat with this. I chose to stop dealing with them years ago after somehow finding myself inbetween him and another sponsor experiencing what was the single most pathetic and confusing exchange between two adults I have ever seen. The BCL was too tempting though...
