Great looking rifle!
I have 2 questions for you :
1) Do you know if the Slr adjustable gas block fits on a stock BCL102 ?
2) Which JP buffer did you buy and did you get extra springs ?

I'm asking these questions since I'm looking for the "right way" to decrease the recoil on a stock BCL102.

The slr adjustable gas block comes in different sizes for the stock barrel you would want their sentry 8 model. I got the 308 jp buffer with additional springs because that was the only one in stock. Changing the springs or changing the settings on a gas block would both accomplish the samething. I would go with the adjustable gas block since its easier to adjust at the range. To be honest the stock BCL is heavy enough that the recoil is not bad and as long as its cycling fine I didn't change anything on mine. You can always add a limbsaver to the stock depending on what kinda stock you have and/or a muzzle brake.

I agree with the Doctor, that is what I did and with the adjustable gas block and the stock buffer system.
I am firing .338 Federal, the rifle has very little kick. I can't believe how nice it is to shoot

It seems no more stripped uppers are available.

Is there anybody else making uppers for the 102? I would think it would be pretty straightforward (hell of a lot of companies out there making AR-15 uppers) and no copyright issue if you're going of the old 102 design...

I'd really like to build a 2nd upper in 6.5 creedmore.

I know for a fact there is at least 1 other company designing a complete rifle, and should be ready to sell uppers shortly.

Seems like a lot of the higher end builds here are using a matched set by manufacturer on the BCG and barrel.

Having a hard time deciding on which to go with... I'd like to be able to get one locally, but that limits me to Aero / BA.

You must be seeing something I am not!

I plan to either get a Proof Research CFW or Falkor Dracos .308 barrel to go with my Lantac E-BCG

Picked up some spares today :)

Has any one tried the m5 rifle buffer tube in their bcl102? Looking to get one and wondering if it has enouhh thread to hold in the buffer stop thingo.

For any of you guys with SLR hand-guards on GEN 2's. I just got me FDE reciever this morning and wanted to test fit the SLR handgaurd I got for it (DPMS high, AR10 nut). Greased receiver and barrel nut threads with some lithium and attempted to hand secure it. I got about two full rotations in and it would budge anymore using grip alone. Were you able to hand tighten your nuts with grip alone or were tools needed? Wondering if the BCL threads are way out of spec or SLR shipped a DPMS nut? Any help would be greatly appreciated

??? more receiver sets????

Yes, the new CNC machine has enabled them to make a ton more uppers and lowers. I've been working on them to release more uppers and lowers and I was able to get more out this week.

Both my slr handguards and bcl receivers I could only get the barrel nut on by hand 20% of the way and then had to use a wrench to get it on the rest of the way
