BCL 102 wear marks

Looks like we will have to come up with a name for the inside wear mark.

So I'm thinking of trying to source a POF roller cam but if you guys are saying the guns are cycling much better after they work themselves in I'm wondering if it's a bad idea. Would that prevent it from finding its happy place??

Let it wear and break in like it is supposed to is my opinion. The fact that this is common on all AR platforms and a known part of break in I can't see spending money on it at least not for now. But just my opinion, but there are others with a lot more experience with these.
 
Leave it be.

I could be wrong but I think installing the POF pin requires removing the gas key. No sense trading a non-problem for a real one......

Yeah I did some more research last night and discovered the need for removal of the gas key. That ended my quest there, I really don't feel like trying to un-stake it.

Gas key removal is a very simple job. And when your done just torque properly and re stake. A center punch and a good torque wrench is all you need.

Agreed, easy and simple - but seems a bit onerous to do this every time you disassemble the BCG for cleaning.

I've only seen AR15 modified gas keys. Where did you order the roller cam and mod gas key from??
