Looks like we will have to come up with a name for the inside wear mark.
So I'm thinking of trying to source a POF roller cam but if you guys are saying the guns are cycling much better after they work themselves in I'm wondering if it's a bad idea. Would that prevent it from finding its happy place??
Leave it be.
I could be wrong but I think installing the POF pin requires removing the gas key. No sense trading a non-problem for a real one......
Armalite and Rock River Arms are both generous enough to publish manuals on the web for free.

Gas key removal is a very simple job. And when your done just torque properly and re stake. A center punch and a good torque wrench is all you need.
The gas key they make clears it.
That's awesome but how can you state for sure??
I noticed the same thing wasn't going to say anything but it does look really rough. Is it just me or do those BCL BCG's look like Norinco manufactured them? The crude finish is near identical to a Norc BCG I own.
Look at the YouTube install video... They have their own gas key that is made to use with their cam pins.
I ordered one just for chits and giggles since the price is right.
I ordered the POF cam pin from Brownells
What about the gas key? Sorry for the 20 questions but you're being kind cryptic lol. Are you just going to hope the standard one fits or modify it?
