BCL PX19 Foxbat

Interesting North Sylva who is the distributor indicated on Jan 4th that they had received them and were shipping them to the retailors. I know a few of the 65 have received them. SFRC indicated that as soon as they receive them that they send them out to the customer. Not sure what the delay is at this point.

This whole process has been anything but transparent. I don't know who to believe anymore. AFAIK my pistol is coming so I'm holding on to a thread of excitement about that LOL.

Any one have theirs yet?
I saw one listed for sale on the Hanguns section of Ellwood Epps for $1399 yesterday. I wonder if they actually physically have one.

ETA: before I get flamed. Ellwoods Restricted Handgun section is not available for the public to view

I just spoke to Epps and that one was supposedly sold to someone who passed away while waiting for the pistol, and so has been listed for sale to exempt buyers. Meanwhile, I am still waiting. Only time will tell if I meet the grave before Black Creek Labs delivers mine. Brutal

Forgetting the time it took the gun for the firearm to arrive I have to admit from my initial inspection the PX 19 is excellent. A range trip is in my future and I report back. The aluminum lower feels really nice. The overall fit and finish is excellent. It came with a nice nylon range bag and 4 Pmags. In the next week or so I will do a detailed range trip.

It comes with an upgraded Shadow Systems barrel and trigger. I have a few Shadow Systems pistols so these upgrades are fantastic.

She looks nice, thanks for sharing! So the barrel is not threaded as was advertised by BCL? As for optic mounting, did it come with any mounting plates for various optics?

No the barrel is not threaded. I will have to check the range bag to see if there are mounting plates as I want to put on my Holoson 507 ACSS.

Pretty brutal considering it is still being advertised, on their website, as coming with a threaded barrel. I'm not really surprised at this point though. Probably safe to assume it didn't come with any optic plates either. So I guess it just uses Glock MOS plates...?

I received an email indicating that the plates will be forthcoming to all that purchased one.

Looks pretty decent overall. Other than the grip, I didn't like that pattern on the Siberian (But at least you can change it) and it looks the same-ish here, and the back of the grip is awfully smooth. Wonder why they didn't put any sort of checkering/continue the same pattern on the back of the grip

Hmmm the last time I bought something from them and asked on some background of the firearm history and it was someone passed.
Either its sorry to hear this or its their favourite selling technique

I really do root for BCL to be successful, but this thing looks very poorly thought out and executed.
I feel for the folks that paid semi-custom Glock 19/17 money for this abortion.

^ well lets see how they function before being too pessimistic. People were spending a lot more for less towards the end. I wouldn't be too fussed about some machining marks personally. At least the company is in business and parts will be available unlike so many other marginal offerings.
