Round 1 of BCL and now the Type 81 fiasco and people are still jumping all over the "pre-sales" eh?
I like to imagine if I wanted to buy a new guitar. But the guitar wasn't even built yet. It's "in development". I can't play it. I can't hear it. I can't feel the action or the shape of the neck or how it fits my body type etc
Except Beaver Creek Labs who is going to make the guitar wants me to put money down or they won't build it thus I can't have it. Oh and if you're not happy with it, there is restocking fees etc and you have to pay return shipping out of pocket.
If I apply this business practice to any other commodity, I take a step back and think to myself "I would have to be a fool, desperate or both at the same time to think this would be a good idea".
Will be watching round of 2 of this carefully.

Lol people are giving their money to NEA
I liked what I saw with the revision of the BCL 102. I really liked what I saw.
You're only reserving a place in line with your full advance payment. Yes, you'd have to be desperate and/or a fool.
If no one paid they would still build them, only difference is you be able to hold one in a retailers store prior to payment.
just get a different bcgI've read in calibre article that rough machining inside BCG kills gas rings. NEA QC strikes again, LOL.
The wait is down to a month or two now from the pre-order. Not a big deal. Waiting a year or so and yes it's an issue. But if buying now for the end of January/beginning of February bothers you, then so be it. I order parts from the US all the time that take about a month to arrive. Never been an issue to me.
just get a different bcg
Just get anything but NEA?
The NEA 102 BCGs are DPMS compatible?
More to the point. Why don't they just drop the pre orders for rifles and just mass produce receiver sets?
Just get anything but NEA?
The Gen 2 is way more refined and also boosted my confidence for my order.
Lol. No, the IOP offer boosted your confidence for your order![]()
