BCL102 Upgrade Question

Lighter handguards would be nice, especially if sold separately and available in black, odg and fde so people can upgrade from the earlier units

The Wave 2 hanguards were lighter than the Wave 1 rifles.. Not too shabby. If BCL made the barrel nut with Al, that would certainly shave off more weight also.

They're no SLR/CF/OW guards, but the OEM ones work.

Trigger, stock, grip and case are exactly what I was looking for. I'd be willing to wait longer to receive the firearm with these upgrades included.

They'd need to have a rifle buffer tube right? I was looking at this because I was contemplating making an SR25 "clone" until I saw how much the KAC rail for it was, plus it wouldnt fit I'm pretty sure.

Can always do an SR25 with the stock bcl rail... but at that point I'd just use a magpul PRS stock.

honestly the best upgrade BCL could do is to not have machine marks and to anodize / hardcoat the receivers before paint, and then only sell the receivers, stripped, minus the proprietary ambi parts and the pins. For both 556 NR and 308 NR

To an extent they will be but it will be what BCL pays for them/makes them for not what the retail would be.

Basically what I'm saying is you won't be paying for both items if everything works out as planned.

This is still better than what a certain other semi auto .308 maker is offering. Full retail on upgrades without a discount for base parts.

Some buffer tubes dont have enough threads to reach the detent pin that holds the buffer tube in place.
