Nobody carries them in Canada right now but I'm sure that will change in the near future. They should be available in Brownells as well.

BCM does not make AR rifles in 762/308.

CH is less of an investment in tooling compare to a handguard. I assume handguard & barrel mount spec for AR 7.62/308 platforms are not universally standardized like AR15 given they cannot standardize magazines.

Maybe the A will have a regular anodization finish? I find the magnesium version has a very slippery finish and it needs the rubber cover.

Good thing I've been holding out on a new rail. This one and Geissele's rail pleases me greatly. Is the major difference the aluminum build instead of magnesium alloy?

Aluminum version is anodized.

Ditto. I found it a bit slippy. Gonna have to get some of those BCM covers.

Or skateboard tape. I think the carbine hits just a bit over 7lb empty with this setup. I can put up with some ugly rubber covers.
