BCRA Provincial SR Championships.

I will be running a M4 as well, it rocked to 300m at Kamloops but it is only going 1900fps at 500m. My attempts at getting a 20" upper have failed miserably this past 2 years...

Just sealed the deal on a 20" Dlask DAR!
jeeez...Longshot said the illness takes hold fast, but this is ridiculous!
Thanks for the tips guys.
I was also wondering about any areas to stash gear while on the range, or is it simply stowed in personal vehicles?
That being said, will personal vehicles be anywhere near the actual range?
I'm trying to figure out how much I might be carrying on my back during the shoots!
Any tips on accommodations in the area?
I've looked into the Vedder River Inn and it seems reasonable, and is pet friendly ( can't leave the dog at home!)
Any better ideas?
Thanks again all!

Pack light dude, you either carry your gear into the pits or stow it in the ditch and grab it when you come back to the firing line. Bullets, Bangstick, Beverage, Snacks and rain gear is pretty much all you need, extra crap can be left in the car which is parked in the lot...not near the range. I would bring something to write your scores on in case you wanna lose money on a challenge:p.

excellent advice all around gentlemen!
thank you!
One last question...I think:
The scoring.
Longshot briefly explained it to me, but I could use it in writing or with visuals.
As I understand it, when in the pits you're responsible for scoring the hits?
I'd hate to put the wrong plug in the wrong place. ( hmmm...sage advice in any situation)
So I'm still not quite clear on the values and the corresponding plug placement.
is there a graphic explanation of this on a site somewhere?
I'd like to come into this as prepped as possible!
Thanks again all!
T.

Don't forget some binos or a spotting scope to check your groups and see the damage.

I didn't mention that on purpose, I just assume most ###MERS use Hubble Telescopes on their guns these days:nest:;)

Buzzkill, relax mate ...it's like the Grand Canyon ...you gotta see it. Someone will show you everything you need to know when you get there.

don't forget short term ATT's, i still have to get mine too. no ATT no shoot, at least thats what I was told. long term ATT's are no good for the millitary range.
and yes I'll be there with my ###MER 20" bushy and hubble telescope, ;)

Oh yeah, I'm covered for glass!
Sure it adds about two pounds to the rig, but I figure it'll look dead ###y at the morning show and shine.
there is a show and shine...right?

With all the Underwater Ninja Knife Fighting Gear in the LMD I am still puzzled as to why all 65 spots are not filled up ...

Buddy I've been harping the guys on the battle rifle section for YEARS to come out. Same excuse every year "I'm scared and don't want to look stupid":jerkit:

Punching paper at the range and showing off your gear to the RSO is LAME! Come out to the Service Rifle shoot and shoot in a competitive environment with guys that have the same stuff....WAY better :ar15:

I'm extremely unsatisfied that I will not be there chaps. have fun, I'll raise my glass to your health from NW British Columbia.

Well, against Laz's advice...it appears I will be keeping with tradition and using a gun that just showed up today, Unzeroed of course, but that's what the 200m deliberate is for right?.

#### I hate you BC guys. Wish I could come out for this shoot. Got my AR now and I don't care how I look cause making spent casings into tight groups is what I love. Hey Longshot, gunnerlove, sharkbait, send some love this way. Let's get together and make some reloadable brass!!!

There are lots of us who have no dope this year but it seems to become an excuse for poor shooting for some folks year after year ;)No names no pack drill! :)
