is the comp getting close to full yet???
There is always a rush of applications to get in under the "t-shirt" deadline (June 15). I get to listen at the registration desk to the people who did not make it asking me to "put an extra t shirt aside for them"V:I:. That is the last thing I am worrying about:bangHead:.
I think this year I will buy myself a whole bunch of extras and boot leg them from my tent at the camp site:kickInTheNuts:.
It would be nice to have all registrations, BCRA memberships and payments done before the match:rolleyes:. Then I could just give out grab bags and sort out a couple of hundred t shirts on Thursday at the house while you guys do the walk backs .

There has been some really hard work and organizing done for this match. I have been running test "dry fire" matches through a really well done, custom, computer scoring program written just for this match by one of the volunteers. I feel beat up just running through the 3 days of entering target scores. I think this should be a test for all levels of ability. I really hope tactical shooters come out and take advantage of this event. Make sure you invite anyone you know who has a rifle that can shoot 20 rds in 90 seconds. Last year it was done by a shooter with a single shot (and a really good team mate).

I look forward to welcoming new shooters. From what I hear there has been a change of guard east of the Rockies. There will be a van full of top notch guys coming to carry on the tradition of excellent shooters from Calgary:welcome:.

If you can't make all of the days, come for the ones you can. Unfired rounds count as misses:).
See you at the registration desk.

I shot a practice dots of doom yesterday at the range and managed to hit 10 out of 11shots.Anyone else been practicing yet?

Well that's not bad.....;)

Headed out this weekend with the new TAC 21 Chassis and plan on doing some damage to paper.

I'm hoping to run it out to 1500m if I have time, this ranching and forest fire thing is kind of kicking my leisure/practice time to the curb.

Fricking wind storms fell a lot of wire that I need to get back up before the cows run away.

Got some more practice in today. Just trying to decide which rifle to take to the match. Decisions, decisions...:)

I got the Coyote about a month ago. The previous owner was a li'l olde man who had only taken it out on weekends, fired one round, and then spent 6 hours cleaning it.

The MDT TAC21 has a blue-printed action and Krieger barrel put together by Dennis Sorensen. It's also about 3 pounds lighter than the Coyote and uses 10 rd mags as opposed to the Coyote 8 rd mags. They both shoot about equally well.

As I said, decisions, decisions...heh

I was the Coyote owner - really nice rifle but a certain big guy kept pressuring me to sell it to him LOL ! Just kiddin' - truth is I prefer the TRG so I got a 20" version to match my 26" version and let C3pppo have a rifle more suitable to a man of his stature :)

Phone call

If the "hard working under paid" posties go on strike will there be a way of finding out if our entries made it in?

How about a Telephone call or PM, maybe an email.... At present I have not received your Entry
