BCRA Tactical Rifle rules and Course of Fire 2008

Miraclejoe and I will be there (mailing the entry form off tomorrow after getting the okay to bail on a wedding from the wife ).

Couldn't find the "Fresh Meat" class on the entry form though :dancingbanana:

Danger Deb and I are going to have to Bow out this year, Sory.

We are in the process of buying a new home with lots of acres for shooting long range, and will be getting prepared for a move. The BCRA will be #1 next year for our event planning. If things work out for this year we may be there as late entrants, if not we wish everyone the best and see you next year.

I was just adding the newly arrived entries to my spread sheet, I notice quite a few regulars that shoot this match that haven't paid yet. It's good to see the folks that have never shot this match that are signing up, we are making progress. I think one more year and we should see a full capacity shoot of 96 shooters

There are now 2 days left.

There are a few things I need help with and need to get sorted out soon.

First thing;
I need commitment from two people to load up their barbeque and bring it out so we can have a barbeque for those entering the night shoots, those who are not shooting the night matches can attend also but there will be a minimal charge for a burger to cover expenses so I am not buying everyone supper.

Second thing;
I need commitment from people to pick up and drop off our target markers on time. Last year James was PO'ed at me because we were late picking up and dropping off the kids and it made for a tense atmosphere and I would like to alleviate that. We will have between 16 and 18 kids to transport.

Third thing;
On the Friday zeroing day, while we are getting targets set up to begin. I need people to take the roof props to the 125m mark and get them placed in front of the appropriate targets with the legs folded in so they lay flat on the ground. It just makes it easier if they are ready to go for Saturday morning.

Fourth thing;
I need the roofs picked up and put back in the pile with the tarp on after the match is done on Sunday while we are sorting out the results and prepping for the awards.

As I remember more I will ask you guys.

I can help pick up the workers in the morning each day, but I think we should ask for them to be able to stay longer as last year was rushed trying to finish. But probably won't be able to take them back down. I'm doing the night shoots and plan on attending the awards ceremony on Sunday and really don't like the idea of driving that 21km 4 times a day.I can only take a max of 3 of them in the garbage scow that is my car.

I will run kids into town if need be,I can move up to 5 at a time.
And I can bring my BBQ too if you want, its a standard size one ( as long as I don't lose it on the way! ):D
I also have a bunch of cardboard backgrounds from last year here too , if you are wondering what you did with them!
