Disagree.
Match fees at Connaught are not a thousand dollars (though the cost of the whole 7-9 days of shooting will exceed $1000, when food accommodation and ammo are added in). The recently introduced F-Class National Championship (>200 shots) is much more affordable in time (3 days) and money ($350 match fee), hopefully shooters will make that a success.
Shooting a major national match at Connaught is expensive, for a whole variety of reasons, but the price of the facilities is not one of them; the amount of the entry fees that goes to pay for the range is $0.
Nope Chris wasn't there I had yard work to do![]()
$350 is still BS
You must have been there to make a statement like this.exactly. you had prizes and it was an f-only match connaught is a combined match with no prizes and second class status.
$350 is still BS. I don't know of any other match in Canada that costs that much and since when did they start supplying ammo to belly benchers out there. DCRA has been overpriced for as long as I can remember
