Or better yet, Challenger magnum 2 3/4" slugs. Same weight and they are the Best penetrators of any slug I've used including Brennekes. 1,450 fps out of a 15" barrel.

Most all I know here in Alaska use Brenneke Original Slugs the State Troopers / Alaska Pipeline Security DUS and Village Protection Officers for Bear / Moose Defense .

My favourite gun by far for camping, hunting, hiking. Haven't been able to source the federal deep pen slugs so I'm running the rio brenneke for now
