Beard catching in m4 stock?

I regularly catch and pull hairs from my beard in my M4 "Magpul" stock. I can fix the problem with tape but is there a better way?

That's a tactical beard weld.
I'm not really clear on where it would be pulling your beard.
Have you tried a magpul stock? They were engineered to be used with the tactical beard
You could try shaving?

It's a sign that your beard is nearing the "tacticool" stage, soon you will no longer need a single-point sling, your firearm will hang freely from your beard. You'll know when you get that silver streak just below your bottom lip. When you've reached master level it splits and becomes two silver streaks starting below each corner of your mouth.
