I use Devcon steel, I like the fact that it is thick and not runny. I slowly pull the action down to the position I want in the stock using a couple bungy cords and the devcon slowly displaces and is easy to clean up.
I use Devcon too and Acraglass gel - that Pro Bed looks good in that Tikka - hes done a NICE job ! RJ
Absolutely agree.
I'll have to look into that. It would be nice to have something a bit heavier bodied. The stuff I've been using is getting sticky and it smears easily.

Where did you get the Pro-Bed stuff ?...I've done a dozen or so with agra glass. The last 4were all with Devcon 10110....I like that better than the acglass.
Been reading some good things about the Bed Rock kit from Miles Gilbert(?)...never tried it yet tho. Thanks for posting !!

I got the pro-bed from Gary at Bighorn sales. I have used bedrock, thats when I started using fumed silica, bedrock calls them micro balloons and they come with the kit. I've used devcon as well...never used acraglass.
If I were to rate them...Pro-bed by a wide margin because of the course fibers, then bedrock over devcon by a little. Pro-bed vs everything else is like concrete with rebar...vs concrete without.
