Beltfed .22 AR-15 upper ( Lakeside machine )

ok , so then im correct to say that with a beltfed upper receiver mounted on any ar15 (registered as a rifle ) i now legaly own a restricted ar-15 in .22 with no maximum of rounds in the belt?

I just want to make sure, because to me what Tuco pike said is totally wrong, but i want to make sure as im new in the AR world.

the rifle is not restricted to 10 rounds technically. the pistol is and since all the mags are interchangeable all mags can only be 10 rounds.... a rule that makes entirely no sense.

A belt fed full auto would be wicked. A belt fed semi auto = why bother

Because its fun to shoot with a 250 rnd belt :D

The upper in the pic of post #1 is one of the biggest POS ever.
(To the OP: PLEASE do not take any offense, I understand
your excitement in the novelty finding).

What you want (but cannot have because they won't sell it to you) is
the upper made by Tactical Innovations that uses the American 180 mags.
Everything else is lame or doesn't work and is not worth even mentioning.

Would it not be only if loaded in the pistol? Kinda like using a 40 S&W mag that is pinned to 10 can hold 13 9mm. Same mag but in one case it isn't illegal the other it is.

It has been specifially named that is can only have 10 round mags. the 10/22 charger is classed as a pistol but can still use the 25 round hot lips mags.

Ar-15's are restricted by name

15-22 mags are capped at 10 by name

the government it retarded because the definition of government is retarded.

LOL....So true ;)

I am guessing by the lack of new posts that there is no news about a Canadian dealer thinking about importing any of the Razorbacks?

Personally I would love to have one, but I think I would sooner have one of their mini 1919A4 kits. Bring some of those in and I'm in for one. :D

I thought I read somewhere that the cost to import a firearm from the US through one of the Canadian authorized importers is like $500 per unit, by the time all the paperwork is done? Is this true or am I seriously mistaken?
