Beltfed .22 AR-15 upper ( Lakeside machine )

We just got the export permit approved.

We will be carrying three types of upper from Lakeside.

1) 10.5" Upper
2) 12.5" Upper
3) 16" Upper

Pricing will be announced early next week.

Chris

will all 3 have the pistol style recoil system? (doesnt use a buffer tube)

Nope, as i don;t see a good demand, if you use the pistol style recoil system then ur end will be plugged so you won;t be able to use a stock on it. With a 10.5" barrel, it will be too front heavy.

If demand is high on the razorback upper, Lakeside will make rear end plug so we can attach a foldable stock.

my thought was the pistol style would work with or with out a buffer tube unless the plug is used in the system some how

If you use the pistol recoil system with a standard ar15 buffer tube, then somehow you need to add something inside the tube to cap it.

I will know more about it once I got my first shipment in so we can play with it first.

Armtac,

in the very first post of this thread you quoted a price of 695$ for the upper, why in the preorder thread is it listed for nearly double at $1300?

We never quote any price until now. Since the barrel is less than 16.5" we need to make it export compliant with US. Plus the manufacturer didn't give us the greatest discount as they also produce this in low quanitity.

We are just reflecting the price we are bringing this in. If I can sell 100 units now, the price will be different than just selling 20 units.

NS,

Thx, I really appreciate it. You can either post here or in my post for my pre-order.

Be aware that the care and feeding of these devices is involved. They don't just load up and go like a 10/22. They have VERY definite needs in the ammo department. When they work well, the are awsome. Bend something in the feed linkages and you have a bit of work to sort it out. Yes, i own one. That being said, Lakeside has an awsome forum full of really helpful people and information all willing to help walk you thru the learning process. The manufacturer himself posts regularly and will bend over backwards to keep you up and running. FUN yes! But if you can detail strip a 1911, stay away, your gonna get frustrated.

Thx for posting, it is an upper that needs a lot of love. I will be inviting Eric to be on this forum once the initial shipment is here, so he could help us with some questions.
