I'd be interested in this too. That's my sole purpose for buying my 223. It's an 8 twist Stainless Tikka Varmint. I got the 100 yd load down good, and now, I just working on the 200 yd load developement.
So far out of 40 test rounds, I had 2 - 5 shot groups just under an inch @ 200 yds.
I used to be a member of the NSRA back in the days too early 80's to 90's....back when Bull Meadows was just being built. We had a couple of pistol ranges, and a 100 yard range.
Shot there and shot a lot at the AMA with Ralph Dunn and Ricky, and also at the Halifax Armouries.
Back then, Bob Sirtonski was the prez of the HG section. Did some IPSC...had a helluva time whenever we shot. Great fun!!
Right about the same time we started a young family and I started my long distance trucking career. Hard to play with my guns when I was gone 300 days out of the year !! ;( sooo everything got put on the back burner...life kinda got in the way !
I sold off all my HG's cept for one...my 12(6)...getting back into some of it again ..the last ten or twelve years!
Fast forward 25 + years.....I've been a member at MVRRC for the past10 + yrs. I love the club...some great members, bit of sporting clays, some HG and lots of rifle. Got my youngest daughter into it...rifles and S-Clays.
I really hope we get our 400 M range up and running this year. Can't wait to see what my old eyes are capable of...then again..I may be disappointed ...
