So I finally found the tool to remove my choke today to try to figure out what it is (full etc) and theres zero markings on it which surprised me
Anyways I measured it and found that there is 0.035" difference from one end to the other. A quick search suggests this is a "Full" choke - does this sound correct?
I use this gun for competition (combat shotgun for now) where the targets are mostly knock down style at close range (10 yards to 50 yards max, been using buckshot for the closer stuff and slugs for the 50 yard knock down steel) - is the choke I got fitted the best bet or what should I be looking at?
That is a Modified choke, which I believe comes standard on the M4
Benelli marks their chokes with notches at the muzzle end, so it can be seen when screwed into the barrel. Three notches, like yours, is Modified.
