Benelli MR1 are IN, i got mine TODAY !!!

I've been using the R1 for a few years now.

I didn't know these made it here with a 20" so I guess I'll have to start shopping around now!

My only recomendation is to keep the piston clean (and even remove the snap ring and clean under the ring attatched to the piston. It took around 3000 rounds for the piston to disolve. I then got a new piston assembly thru warranty. I've used it three times, and cleaned it after each time and it is already showing signs of corrosion.

Have fun with it, and let us know how the accuracy is.

we got about 1 1/2" at 100yards with a 3x scope shooting off a piece of wood. really nice gun to shoot. we used the winchester fmj cheap stuff and to tell the truth it out shot the goldmedal fed stuff!

Have fun, and post a Range report to let us know if it perform like a 2K rifle

See, that's just it. With the MR1 it doesn't have to be a range report. It can be a backyard report. With something like this I can just throw it in the trunk of my car on the way to work in the morning, and shoot it when it when I get to my parents place up north for the weekend after I've done some wakeboarding.

That's what 2K gets you. Flexibility. Absolute flexibility, and no arcane rules to follow. Throw it in the backseat inside a weapon's case every day and be able to shoot it on a whim without having to adhere to some piece of paper.

No, not everyone is fortunate to have private property to shoot on, but there are a lot who do, or those who are members at clubs that dont' have restricted ranges. Hell, with a rifle like this I'd probably make a point of having it in my car every time I'm going somewhere just because I can.

Was about to comment on how it looks a lot like a rifle calibre version of the Beretta Storm, then did some reading, and discovered that it is.

storm is the CX4, Rx4 was supposed to look like this; and was supposed to be available with a fixed pistol grip stock.

I got mine today too! P&D $1699- the only one they got! I was smart and put $400 down a month or so ago.

I dont have a mount for my Trijicon though- anybody have one? or know where to get the front piece for these to add a handle/light?

What kind of optic are you installing my friend ?? i was to ask if someone can identify the one on the beretta on top here as it seem to be monted VERY low, this will be better as the stock seem to be shaped for the peep sight and not high enough for scope/dot optic. Mabye less worst then a scope mounted on top on the AR-15 handle but the stock seem to be low a little bit.

i'am thinking of a little scope too, i have see the MR1 with the trijicon 1-4 x 24 AND the quick release mount from trijicon too... any suggestion will be appreciated

As for the tri-rail, can't find one me too, and for thoses who ask, there is a telescoping stock available, there is one listed in part's in the benelli book, i have called at benelli USA and they told me that before releasing the part as a change over, they whant to release the rifle complete with the telescoping stock and then, the stock itself...

Thank's

Just found AND order the tri rail for it...
39.95$ to my door

It's a replica but for the price, i can't go wrong...

Im going to try the Trijicon TA11D 3.5 X 35. it does seem to mount a little bit high with the basic two knob base- Im trying to track down an A.R.M.S. #19 mount with throw levers.

I would happily pay 1800 for this rifle, it has a super reliable piston system that makes almost impossible to screw up..... A moron could abuse the crap outta one of these and it would still function...

You hardly have to clean it, and you can take it in the bush..

Not to mention that you can still tacticool one of these puppies up..

That rifle looks nice! Sounds like fun but a bit pricey. If I could get my hands on one of those with a telescopic stock and shorter barrel with some sort of flash hider it would be titties.

I agree; telescopic stock option (like the RX4) and it would be very tempting. Will the collapsible stock for the M4 fit it?
