Benelli MR1 are IN, i got mine TODAY !!!

He is very right, read my post....
it look like a semi-auto 1100 or 11-87 !!!!

The hole you see on top of the rear handle is the nut that hold the rear handle, you loosen or tighten it with the little chant that is in front of the forearm...

I'm wrong. Apologies. Made worse because I recently owned a Benelli M4 with the ( more or less ) same action including the recoil spring down the telescoping stock.

I would definitely consider one of these. A friend has an R1 hunting rifle that I love, so this would be an easy sell with the 10 round mags.

Have one, shot it about 1500+ rounds so far.

Ejector is broken, and jams occationally (all factory ammo in Win, Rem, Fed 55gr and 62gr, and S&B)
Stock not adjustable.
accuracy is 6/10 compare to my XCR.

barrel heats up VERy QUICKLY, high round count range use is not recommended.

My concern is the mag release. I suspect it's too far out to reach with my trigger finger. If it was ambi, I'd be happier.

Yep.. Same opinion as saskcop.. Handled one today as well. Too much $$ for what it is IMHO. That, and I dont have the bug for a NR 223. Already have an Ar180b.
I have handled the XCR as well and the thought that of paying 2G + for an XCR is plane stupid the rifle is IMHO a very low quiality rifle with a warranty and service from the manufacture that is less than desirable.

found one at my local gunshop for $1679, but then found an xcr on the EE for $2050....so I bought the XCR...now I wait!

You'll be happy. After handling a bunch of differnent rifles I found the XCR to be very good. Im pleased with the way mine shoots, quality is top notch. Both my 556 and 7.62 will put 5 shots under 1 inch....no its not 10 but for my purpose of hitting a coyote it works great.

Cheers!!

coyote will be my main target... along with target shooting on a recreational level. I'm not looking for a wildly accurate rifle as if I want that I'll go buy a bolt in 22-250 which may just happen as we are going to be shopping for a rural acreage soon with the intention of having a proper (private) range facility. This will be my fun gun and if I don't like it I'll sell it and try something else...

And if you do sell it, you let me know. :)
