I "had" some and the followers were marked 556....
Might as well have single shot rifles, that way no one gets offended. Glad you think the guys having fun are to blame.... SMH..
and pinned to two rounds*You forgot "I own AA magazines and actually shoot 50 Beowulf"
people importing/producing "grey" market magazines specifically for the Canadian market is what brought this issue to a negative light..........Why create statistics that don't need to be created? The CONSTANT yapping about these things brought them into a negative light, yet some people still refuse to shut up.
So how'd you vote in the poll?Blaxsun, sure are a mouth piece aren't you? You must just spend your whole life sadly commenting on cgn. So sad.
I have 3 PCV mags that have seen lots of use. I also have a dozen 25 and 110 round 10/22 mags unpinned that I still use. RCMP do not make the law. Agreeing to their interpretation by pinning your mags only helps gives them the power they are assuming.

Bowzy,
Rcmp issued a notice saying they were prohibited devices as they held more than 5 rounds of 223. Say to be legal has to be pinned to 2 rounds beowolf. It isn't a law but not sure anyone wants to challenge it in court.
For the time being, yes. There aren't any indications this could change although none of us exactly have a crystal ball...Are the .223 pistol mags that hold 10 still fine?
^^ this, you will be on your own to hire a lawyer to defend you. There have been people charged with this offence and the gun orgs offered no help to the accused to take it to trial.I don't think anyone is agreeing with them but is it worth your time and money fighting in court for years and potentially losing your firearms license while you spend years in court fighting? Do you think the community will rally behind you and collect donations to help you pay your legal fees?

It will take a year min to get in front of a judge on the matter and you will be under conditions of your promise to appear which can include all sorts of things that may limit your ability to earn a living while you wait. (as an example, my drivers license was taken away while I awaited court and the charges were not related to driving). The police and crown does everything in their power to exhaust your funds before trial, they will offer deals and intentionally delay the trial to run you out of money, force you out of your home, ruin your marriage, alienate you from your friends so at least they have punished you one way even if the charges are thrown out.
You will of course have your firearms seized and will be under a firearms ban for the duration of your charges as well
"innocent until proven guilty" really is a joke considering how our court/justice system operates todayTotally worth it just to be able to put 5 extra rounds in the magazine and play in a gravel pit shooting cans.

I now only have newly imported AA mags that are pinned to the 2 rnd capacity. Not worth having to explain holes in the mag, carry paperwork as to what gunsmith re pinned them to RCMP specifications, etc
Are you allowed to own Beowulf mags or do they have to be pinned to Five rounds
