I never did own a Beowulf mag, or use the 10 round pistol mags (owned a used one). I'm pretty good at reloading drills because I only use 5's lol.

If I was in competitions I'm sure I would've picked up some higher cap mags though.
 
Has this not been beaten to death already?

It is well known that the opinion of the author of this poll feels owning and using these mags is unlawful since they are prohibited in his\her mind. I am unclear why this user wants his fellow gun owners to admit to a "crime" in a public fourm.

Can this thread be locked?

Apparently censorship on CGN is alive and well. Once upon a time if people didn't like something they just choose not to read it... It's a private poll, but option 2 (black helicopters) might be your best choice if you feel so concerned. And here I thought the SJW aspect was limited to Liberal and NDP thinking. Can we ban you if I disagree with your take on things?
 
I don't own them but it's mainly because I haven't bought them. I own a bunch of lar mags and 5/30. In my opinion the law hasn't changed so why shouldn't we use them. Kudos to those who use them regularly and aren't cowering around.
 
I have wanted a few of the 50 Beowulf magazines for my AR15 but have changed my mind since the big shake up. I for one can't afford any legal fee's and definitely do not wish to have a firearms prohibition of any time period !

No doubt the SJW's will flame away but hey I'm cool with that lol. :cool:
 
i have owned a PCV and those mags are junk
i never bought any AA mags but i purchased the 'grey' 50 cal beowulf mags (no option in poll for them)
i use them regularly

I own three actual Alexander Arms Beowulf mags, I'm not planning to pin them unless it actually becomes law and until they either retract the notice they put out or make it law I've placed them aside on the shelf and just use one of my other 50 or so STANAG pattern magazines.
I hate that we are limited to 5 (or 10 with a pistol mag) but for the type of playing I do with my guns I'm either limited to 5 because I'm hunting or just shooting casually in my yard or at a buddy's farm with my non restricted stuff and don't really care if I have to reload more often, no one is shooting at me and I'm not competing so while more would be nice I'm not risking my career, family, freedom, guns just to get my barrel hotter once in a while. It also helps keep shooting costs down when it's more awkward to shoot more rounds.
Maybe if we tell the lieberals we like the 5 round limit they'll lose interest and just let us take the rivets out, lol.
 
I have LAR and Beo mags (the grey ones) and use them but if there are a bunch of people at the range and I am just punching paper I only load 5 rds at a time. I generally don't do mag dumps when the range is busy anyway so fewer rds doesn't really change my shooting pace much.
 
Why create statistics that don't need to be created? The CONSTANT yapping about these things brought them into a negative light, yet some people still refuse to shut up.

It would be wise to not stir ####. These are already controversial, and need a precedent before its worth talking about any further. I know law enforcement that use these, and dont think there isn't a hope in hell of successfully charging anyone that is willing to take up legal defence on the matter before the RCMP have a precedent to reference. This is why the wven dropped the charges on the guy who hot busted for growing pot.

Many of us have a substantial investment in beo mags, and many also have the upper or caliber conversion to go with them.

The only thing that will come of you stirring #### like this is you will be partly blamed if/when the RCMP do try and crack down on them in a legitimate way.

The law is what it is, and the Alexander Arms mags shall remain legal until either a precedent is set or the law's writing has been changed.
 
Lol, they're already in the RCMP sights, talking about them now won't change that.
The only people to blame are the guys who do 15 round mag dumps at the range when there are lots of people watching and the guys doing mag dumps in the gravel pit half a mile away from town.

It doesn't matter if you own a Beowulf upper or any other Beowulf rifle, the notice states 5 rounds of 223 regardless of the stamp on the magazine or what rifle it is being used in.
By them putting out the notice it means they're already trying to make it law, us talking about them won't change that.

Considerable investment? Lol, if the RCMP have their way you'll be investing in rivets soon.

I think our only chance is if they don't get it pushed through before the next election and we can get rid of terrorist supporter Trudeau and the rest of his feminist goofballs.

Might as well have single shot rifles, that way no one gets offended. Glad you think the guys having fun are to blame.... SMH..
