Mmm so the Pmag is $19.94 down south and we can buy them for $24.9 here now
Pinned and shipped for $5 extra. But it will cost $25 for same thing on Beowulf mag

Profit margin, that's why the beuwolf mag will be rare, importers will sell a million of these 1 mags at a time for double then it should, that's the Canadian gun industry for you. Some may say that's capitalism, BS, capitalism is supply and demand and they drive each other, unless manipulated by greed.

So I decided to revive this dead thread and see if anyone figured out how to get the old "unreliable" followers for the Beowulf polymer mags?

Also just to be sure, you are using gen 2 ranger plates correct? If I understand it correctly, gen 3 is a bit different.
 
No Gen 1 is o.k , with the 3 being so-so and Number 2 being better than #1 without really being any better than #3. So if you want the 3 make sure you have #1 because if you have #2 you won't really be any better off than if you had #1 and switched too #2 before using #3.

If the price was reasonable I'd give them a try but I'm not willing to pay double (or more) just to be able to stuff a few extra rounds into a mag that I'll have to risk handcuffs or at least spend half an hour explaining how and why it's legal to the cop that catches me using it. I know it's legal and you know it's legal but I wouldn't be surprised if 95% of the law enforcement officers in this country have no idea there are any legal exceptions or ways around the capacity limits. Most of them probably don't even know about the LAR mags.
I'd much rather see our stupid mag capacity laws abolished than waste a bunch of money on these.
