Beretta 1301 Tactical: How Capable Is It Really

In my experience, I rate my 1301 as "not capable" and a fail from the start for something as simple and important as having the sights installed incorrectly.

Lol, do you want to sell it?

Absolutely, I will not be keeping this.

And no more Beretta products for me, and I will try to avoid products that have warranty issues dealt with by Stoeger Canada. My last email I sent to them, I did not get a reply even. Poor service from what once was a reputable company.

Awesome, post it up on the EE.

I have two Gen 2 1301 Tactical, both have been completely reliable with absolutely everything I have fired. 0 failures in a few thousand rounds. I can't say my M4s have been that reliable... I still find it funny that people bring up the recoil while comparing it to another gun that weight at least 1.5lbs more... If it kicks too hard a $60 recoil pad tames even 3" magnum loads. Or you can hang a bunch of stuff off it and still be around the weight of other comparable guns in stock configuration.

Which mag tube extension do you have? I'm a bit confused hearing some are illegal and some arent.

I recently purchased a 1301 tactical gen 2 to use as a deer gun for our controlled deer hunt ( southern Ontario). So far I have put 100 target loads, 20 slugs, 20 buckshot rounds and 10 turkey loads through it without issue. So far I am pleased with it.
