The D Spting is a lighter hammer main spring fitst used by Beretta in their 92 D version. The G Decocker is a replacement for the existing decocker/safety foirst used by Beretta on their 92 G which was a decocker only gun. The decocker lever automatically springs back up when you decock the gun. The D Spring reduces the weight of the DA trigger pull and the G Decocker eliminates the "safety" which is not reall necessary on the gun since the gun is decocked when the decocker is applied. Folks like that feature as you can easily apply the safety when racking the slide when you don't want to apply the safety.

I'm one of those guys that needed the short reach trigger, it was just a hair too much of a reach for me without it. Bob is right, it moves the break pretty far back.

Looks like im going to be ordering most parts from brownells. Thanks for the info folks. I will uodate when i get everything.

The 92 im picking up has upgraded walnut grip. bit thick but should be ok for now.

The Hogue rubber monogrip with finger grooves is really nice. I paid $50 on Amazon for mine.

The rest I had to get from Brownells: steel trigger, D spring, skeletonized hammer, hex grip screws, hammer spring cap (replaces lanyard loop)
