Beretta 92f

I have a 92FS and a 92A1 both Italian made; and I absolutely love them both. I look at other handguns all the time and I just don't seem to like the feel of any others. my ONLY complaint with the Beretta's is the cover sight alignment. I kinda like the set up where you line the top of your sights with were you want to hit. Covering where you want to hit annoys me sometimes; but I have pretty much just accepted it as the way it is and learned to use it well.

IIRC the locking block is rated for 22k. So it would cost about $7000+ to get to that round count shooting factory ammo. If you can afford that you can probably afford to buy a new LB for $40-60. Not to mention that probably 95% of shooters will never shoot that amount thru one gun.

Have owned more than one Beretta 92 over the years.

Good pistol but personally I've found that the BHP MkIII and CZ 75/85 series pistols fit me better.

Hope you enjoy yours, though.

Not going to lie my Stainless 75B fits my hand a little better than my Beretta, but it was my first handgun and I'll never sell it, even if I needed the cash - would rather be homeless than get another month of rent out it, but being homeless with a nice 9mm is probably not that bad haha.

btw CZ was partly a birthday present from the wife so I'm kinda stuck with it, not that I mind.

for the double action pull, you can put in a Beretta "D" hammer spring. Its cheap and changes the double action pull a fair amount.

Girsan makes compact models of the same thing, so if you want one in a compact you can get one of these.

Family member owns an italian 92FS INOX and the thing is a great gun. Easy to take down, accurate, and beautiful to boot. The only real issue I have is the grip is large and doesn't fit everyone so a good squeeze is recommended to see if it fits you. (A stupid issue I have is the exposed barrel/slide has taken a few chunks of skin when idiots drop the slide.... ok, that idiot is me..)

Personally, I prefer my CZ75B SA but it is hard to deny the allure of a 92FS.

then why does the beretta armourers manual list it as a "user consumable part" along with some of the springs- I've gone through 1 and mine's a sb
n vr mind- and my l/b was 105 -and that was numrich's price

My Inox came with Hogue panel grips. I replaced them with aluminum. Extended mag release i have installed on mine looks and works great. I also have Novak carry sights that used to come on Elite 2 models. Love my 92!
