Beretta A400 Novator?

Jeez, this is the same outcome of every thread you weigh in on. I am astonished that you own virtually every shotgun ever made and always conclude by saying the Maxus or the Gold is the best ever made....then you cheese everyone off by saying “cheers”.

Sorry Dilly and every time you seem to want to get a kick in at me don't you
What did I piss you off at one time or hurt your feelings. If I did sorry :)
Cheeze everyone or just YOU Dilly. I try to help more than try to hurt that is for sure
I've worked a lot on many of these old guns back in the day and can remember a bit about some so might as well try to help I feel

Yes there was a time when dad had the gun shop I had access to quite a few for sure but by no means everyone ever made
I have down sized my collection big time in the past 10 years due to my age and health but still held on to my favorites which were what I call blue collar shotguns

That is what I collected since 1965 shotguns that the average guy could afford and yes I do have quite a few of the semi models still here. In fact up until 10 years ago I would try to buy an example of every new one out pretty much to see what they were like and only a few a remington versa max and a mossy 9200 do I remember getting rid of until the downsizing
Not that it means anything but I am just shy of 90 working shotguns remaining so yes I still have a few. Sorry that upsets you. Sounds crazy maybe but when you do the math that is only two bought a year

And super x1 was the best ever made in this semi category and yes I still have some good examples of them despite selling four in the EE

Sorry again to offend you
Cheers

Got an answer back from Beretta:

Thank you for your interest in our brands. Beretta produced and sold the A400 Novator. It was made specifically for the Russian market. The A400 Novator functionality is identical to the A400 Xplor 3” wood stock, just has a black receiver.

Hope this help.

I went and had a closer look - it's a 30" barrel and it's on sale for $1299. He checked if he could drop the price any further but it's already marked down from $1619 and they're at cost now.

What we have been saying all along. Still would love to see the manual with the parts break down to find out exactly what they changed. It is a unique gun made to what ever the russian spec was at the time. I seem to first read conversations about them like 7 years ago on a shotgun forum in the US
Strange for any to end up in canada but I remember the same thing happened to some remington 7600 carbines in 35w made just for france a few got into canada some how
Thanks for sharing
Not a gun I would be buying without knowing this information first
Cheers

Me too got an answer from Beretta:

We kindly ask you to contact Russian Eagle for information on this topic.

So, I contacted the Russian Eagle (Beretta representative in Russia) and they sent me the following response:

Beretta Novator belongs to A400Xplor family and is being sold in Russia as Beretta A400 Xplor Novator 12/76 76 OCHP. We don't know how this model happened to show up in the Canadian store. The differences between Unico and Novator are the following:

a) Novator shots only 70 and 76mm ammo, Unico shoots 70, 76, 89mm;
и) Novator holds 4+1 shells, Unico 2+1.

I asked them to send me any catalogues or manual but haven't received anything else. If/when I get some, I will post it here.

As I previously wrote, there are some minor differences between Novator and Unico that were highlighted by Beretta representative on Guns.ru forum, but it's basically the same gun.

Nice try LOL
Lot of extra effort to try to be right
Like I care or any one else will knowing they don't know how one ended up in canada. I sure don't want it
I said before believe whatever makes you happy and I will do the same
Bottom line it is not the same gun they sell here or in europe. It was for a special Russian order what part of that cannot you grasp or just fail to admit
You said Post 18 and 13
Once again, there is no such model as Novator.
Twist the words as you like in the end That is not correct PERIOD
Your words again LOL
Don't confuse others.
I'm done now with this foolishness and wasted too much time on it and for what???
Cheers

f:P: Are you blind or what? Xplor Novator is the right model name. You were blaming that it's just Novator and it's built on 686 series.

Seeing that you have more than 11K posts, I assume this is not the first time you are wasting time. So not a big deal if you post another nonsense here or somewhere else.
