Anyone make a non restricted barrel in .45 acp cal ?
Hey guys they offer this gun in a restricted and non-restricted versions ?
From the Bits of Pieces, Winter 2007 Newsletter:Anyone make a non restricted barrel in .45 acp cal ?
We have some 9mm non-restricted barrels for the Beretta CX4 Storm and .40 S&W and .45 ACP will be available in due course.
Accuracy is about 2" at 50 yards out of both rifles. .
YES!!!!!! after 9 months it's here!!!! I had a non-restricted barrel put on, can't wait to try it out!!!
Looks good Colin! They are a fun firearm. Your barrels finish looks close to the orginal Baretta barrels matte finish. I just installed a non-restricted barrel made by Bits of Pieces on mine but it has a shinier blued finish. I am still jumping through hoops with the CFC to get it's classification changed though.
Cheers!
with the right Ammo..I've found the my CX4 in .40 is very picky on what ammo it likes.. Factory Winchester is all over the place, and my IPSC reloads (excel) are flying as well.. it likes Montana Gold in a full powder load (again a MG in light power is all over the place as well.)

I've got the 45ACP version.
Has anyone found or made a brass catcher for it?

I have a non-restricted CX4 barrel made by Bits of Pieces. Very nice quality. Doesn't look to be a heavy barrel though. Will be able to compare it with the standard barrel once my CX4 arrives.
How much did it cost to have the longer barrel installed?
