Beretta Open House and Premium Gun Showcase

Well said Brad. BTW, the whole Beretta show is at L'Acadie on the 4th. The range is 30 minutes South of Montréal. So, depending where you live in Ottawa, it should be a 2 hour drive for a once in a lifetime (so far) view of SO, Guibeletta and many more premium guns as well as the whole lineup of Beretta shotguns. The ONLY other place you can find the premium guns are at Beretta Gallery in NY or Dallas.

As a brand new guy to shooting with nearly no shooting buddies, this is an incredible opportunity for me to try out several different guns at the same place. It wil make it much more likely that I will pick the right O/U for myself and heck even try out an auto loader or two and see if I ought to go against what's common around the skeet circuit.

To be honest, there are other purchases as well where I would prefer the opportunity to pay a nominal fee and test drive a product without any pressure of buying where I test drove it.

At the World Skeet Shoot in San Antonio TX, all the high end gun manufactures let you shoot their guns, with of course you providing you own ammo and targets!

Theere were hundreds lined up to shoot Beretta, Benelli, Frianchi and Stoeger shotguns today. The entries were closed by 3pm and the last shots at 4.30. There was nearly $1million of shotguns on two racks in the clubhouse! Included were two very nice SO10 in 28 and 20. There were 3 DT11 including mine to tried.Stock dimensions taking were free and a numbeer took the advantage to have their next Beretta made to order. A Beretta stockmaker from the Premium gunshop was on hand to take dimensions. Aldo, the International Shooter Handler shot the Bunker trap competion. He is currently 2nd to an American who shoots a Beretta DT10. BTW, Aldo shot a DT11 from one of the demos!. You will see this display and opertunity in Vancouver next weekend and then on to Oshawa.

Tomorow is dealer day followed by an exclusive customer evening Monday.

NOT one! What amazed me today, was the complete lack of safe gun handling by dealers, the lack of knowledge on how to operate & unload safely a semi shotgun, plus a complet lack of knowledge of shooting clays! I spent the day running the 5-stand. High score was an employe just Northeast of Montreal who shot an 17 followed by 18. Second best were a couple of 15s with many single digits among the 100 plus! I cleanned the targets mostly with the first shot! 25! This gives you an idea of the caliber of the dealers trying to sell you stuff!

After each group shot, I showed them what the DT11 new barrels can do with SK and IC chokes. I wacked consistenly 50 yard teal and crosser. I had a few problems when the winds moved them further back. But for the last three groups found my stride and killed them even with Sk. The DT11 is just so.....PLUS half the percieved recoil fo my DT10L!

We had Aldo Lavazzani (Shooting Service & a great shooter helper) and the Premium Guns product manager Dr Niccolo d'Amico who beat Claude Viallancourt representing Stoeger, in a shoot-off at skeet between Beretta Italy and Beretta Canada. Claude is an acomplished skeet shooter BTW. ALdo finished 7th at the bunker trap competion that was held this weekend. He is a former three time national winner in Italy.

Next weekend in Vancouver followed by Oshawa. DON'T miss it!

Beretta boy

I will give you one fact--
You will be amazed to know that nmsu hosts golf demo day and all the major golf equipment manufacturers like callaway, titleist, ping, taylor made etc etc attend the venue and offer free tryout's and go a step further by offering free custom fitting....

Plus the manufacturers themselves have demo days at no charge...

All true, except they don't pay green fees, or pay for golf balls. You can be custom club fit by any golf pro any time if your buying.
You can use their equipment on the driving range and chipping and putting greens. If you go out on the coarse, you pay for green fees and use your own golf balls.
Henri, nice pictures. And full props to Beretta.

Contact one of the major stores or clubs. Otherwise pm me and I will get you an invite for the private show.
