beretta or glock

I have owned a Beretta 90Two and i own multiple Glocks, and I like both for different reasons but I did sell the Beretta to buy more Glocks if that says anything, but you cant go wrong with either both great guns in their own right.

For carry and action shooting, the Glock seems to be a clear winner.

If only shot at the target range, the Glock loses most of it's advantage.

To me the 92FS feels like a gun should. Heavy, solid. The Glock feels more like a toy. Though my hands are on the small side of average, I have had no issue with the so called "large grips" on the 92FS. It felt better to hold than the Glock.

Neither one fits my hands very well, but definitely of the 2 it would be Glock for me - one trigger pull to master, better parts availability, better long term durability (no locking block). You do lose some accuracy versus a 92, but not so much that it would tip the balance.

The Beretta fits my hand beautifully and shoots beatifully. The glocks are without a doubt reliable, but damn are they awkward to grip comfortably. Too bad they can't make them thicker.

Both are great ,
Beretta is Refined pistol ...
Glock is a Square pistol ...
both are easy to find
both are easy to sell
get both or one at a time
...

Hi guy I just want to know what is the best between the beretta FS92 and the GLOCK 17 and for why is the best, because I dont know witch one I gotta buy

please help me!!!

I own both and love them both!

They are two totally different guns as mentioned before. I suggest going to a range and try both out by putting a hundred rounds through each....or more rounds than that if you need too!

Both pistols are accurate, durable, and have proved trustworthy, as well as reliable, over the past few decades.

I couldn't pick either one as a clear winner and I would be hard pressed to pick if I had to sell just one of them.

I do know one thing, you will have fun with either one you choose!

glock = indestructible.

IF you need a gun that will ALWAYS fire, always be reliable, at a cheap price, with great accuracy go with the glock.

IF you just want to go shooting at the range, like most people do - but what ever you like best and enjoy it!

I have both and Id rather have the G17. I bought that gun in person and it fits me like a glove. I ordered the Beretta cause I always wanted one thanks to Mel Gibson and Bruce Willis. I ordered it through the mail without holding it ( big rookie mistake). It shoots well and is a nice gun, has a external safety or hammer drop, whatever you want to call it. It was way more expensive as well. It also doesnt fit my hand as well as the Glock. So diffinitely hold both in your hands and go with what feels right to you. I think im gonna sell my Beretta, i just dont use it enough. The Glock feels like an extension of my arm.

glocks are fine but they cant touch the berettas single action trigger for accuracy tho.

The trigger is why its not a good IPSC gun. That first trigger pull is DA and then every one after is SA, which is not good for IPSC. Plus it has a safety that will have to be engaged according to IPSC rules. The glock is just draw and shoot, same trigger pull each time.

For a lot of us the fact that the trigger goes back to a nice crisp SA mode after the first shot is a big plus.

That is also the reason why I went with a hammer fired gun over any of the striker fired guns. I can shoot a Glock or M&P just fine but not as easily as I can with the nice SA pull. Having to concentrate just a hair more for the first DA shot is a small price to pay.

Your statement also ignored the fact that the CZ Shadow is a hugely popular gun for production class in IPSC competition. Around here I see more Shadows in Production than any other gun.

To the OP, the two guns are so totally different that it's hard to find a lot of common ground other than they are both handguns. You really need to find a way to arrange a way to try out some guns instead of asking folks on a forum since we're all going to tell you to buy what WE like instead of what you will like.
