Bergara b14r

What are you thinking for a scope for this toy? You look to be leaning towards the 300 yard challenge

My Steiner px4i 4-16 is just collecting dust, only sa rem scope rail that Epps had that day was a 0moa weaver rail, I need the larger slots for the massive 34 mm rings. I’m looking at mdt to throw me one for a demo lol, I’m guessing I’ll have to order it tonight to get ready for the crps in march

Mine ships tommorow...

Stock need upgrading? I might swap it out for a chasis and see if the begara stock will take a 700 center-fire that needs a home.

Jerry, that mpod is awesome on here. Makes a Harris seem like shooting off a barricade lol

Looking good and yes, the MPOD is an extremely stable bipod.

I measured outside to outside, wasn’t really taking my time but wasn’t rushing. I fired a couple 10 round groups at 50 yards on the white paper then moved to 100 for a 20 round group, then changed ammo. Fired almost 300 rounds in an hour and a half with no cleaning. I was more interested in the 100 yard groups than the 50. The sk rifle match was pretty darn good at both, and suprised me as I figured the vertical inconsistency would be higher than the polar and biathalon in -1 temps. I’m curious what this factory gun can get farther out when it warms up. But so far very impressed and yes it is sub moa as the barrel states

Going to one by London on the 7th, that is where they are for now, maybe Chris will do an orps again soon. For some reason my area doesn’t really have an interest in competition shooting, lots of guys with pal rpal but not much interest in matches
