I shot a moose at fairly close range (90 - 100 yards) with 210 grain Bergers (the ones they made before they had both target and hunting lines, so the classic target bullet they show in their videos) from a 30-06. The bullet performed exactly as advertised and I'm fine using them again.
Honestly, powdergun posted that the doe died forty yards from where she was shot, and did not report needing a second shot, or having extreme bloodshot meat or anything (compared to other deer shot at close range with 7mm mag), so I'm wondering what the problem is...
Maybe if he wants his deer to flinch on the shot, he could scream or something, just as he pulls the trigger
