Do you know who sells Wilson combats in Canada?trp x2... 1911's can go anywhere from $350 to $10,000. So start out with a price point. Nighthawk, Wilson combat are probably two of the top semi-production 1911's in my opinion. Les baer, Ed Brown are top o' the line as well

Had my hands on and fondled my first Nighthawk Custom about a month ago. It made my dream Kimber seem Norincoish....If money was no object, the ability to customize and design your own 1911, with the fit and finish that Nighthawk offers, makes Nighthawk Custom handsdown the best 1911....IMO

Unfortuantely, at this time 1911s are not popular in IPSC due to a capacity limitation.Any IPSC shooters here that can give me info on what to look for considering I'd like to get into IPSC at some point?
I'm looking for a Springfield Loaded combat, but seems like no one has stock on it.
I've checked with retailers, distributors, and I even contacted Springfield...
I might end up going for a Kimber TLE instead.
If it doesn't say Sig Sauer on the slide, it isn't a real pistol!*
