Best 22 for the buck out of the box

best .22

my toz-78 have an excellent accuracy and 100$ from armrus ist very hard to beat...

KDX

If you can find one---Brno 1,2 or 5. Cz 452 american second choice. Triggers in the brno unbelievable. I have a #2 that has 14 oz with no creep. Its a shooter. One jagged hole at 25 yds. The CZ will likely need trigger work which is simple. Kits are available from Brooks at cz452.com He ships to Canada. If you buy either a Brno or CZ in 10 yrs they will likely be worth more than you paid for them------Cowboy

If I could have only one .22 it would be a be a CZ.

I've shot quite a few different rimfires (Remington, Winchester, Marlin, Savage, Lakefield, etc.). IMO you'd have to pay a hefty premium (more than double) to get performance similar to a CZ.

Hey I have the TOZ 99 it is the semi version bought it about 2 yrs Have been shooting it 2 a week since. I must have put more than 7000 rounds through it so far. I love it.

How is your '78?

If you buy her something of equal value, it usually works.:D

I also vote for the Cz. I have the American model and it shoots just about as good as my Ruger 10/22 that I have spend almost double on, but am not complaining. I was fun to customize.

I am trying to save money remember. I will end up with a $ 200 purchase If I buy her something of equal value. Anyway I tried to open the subject, she refused to even discuss it....

I will see if Valeri will keep one for me till February.

BRNO & or CZ for me, I have'm in both Varmit & sporter versions, 22 LR, 17M2, & 17HMR, have had most everything else & the only ones I would have a hard time parting with are the BRNO - CZ's

Best 22

Marlin

Until 3 years ago, no experience. Bought a 22 mag bolt and was really impressed with the accuracy. So...2 years ago I purchased a Marlin 7000T semi-auto. My buddy shoots a 10/22, and I out-shot him in accuracy and also reliability. I have very few jams. So...I think the rifling on the Marlins is exception.

For what it's worth.
