Best .22LR for 11 and 12 year old...Tips and help please

Very well said Scarecrow. I bought 2 Toz-78 because I liked the 1st one so much. One of them is still brand new. I also bought a Biathlon 7-2KO. Eventhough the Biath is extremely accurate I still like the Toz-78. As Hyeprofile put it, it's very Rugged and accurate. You cannot go wrong in getting one. Plus it's very light for youngsters to hold and aim. It feels like a toy

One more vote for the TOZ 78.

I bought one from Armrus and I am just totally happy with it. The trigger is very sweet - you can adjust it to virtually no creep and extremely light pull. It makes shooting easier for a kid because he won't have to compensate at all for the force required on a typical trigger.

It's a full-size .22 but your boys will outgrow a mini-size within 2 to 3 years anyway. I might consider cutting the stock of mine and making the butt into a bolt-on extension so it will fit me as well as my four boys (oldest is just turning 10).

Regards.

I actually thought they changed when I wasnt paying attention!!! Calum you bastard!! I just about choked on my Oreo cookie!!!!
