In attempt to continue in the right direction, just finished this beauty...will be my first long range semi
Don't know how it shoots yet but sure is nice to look at! Going to start with 168gr SMk's BTHP

Very nice. A buddy of mine just bought one of the new AR10A rifles as well. Great deal.

Just a heads up guys/gals. I emailed Diamondhead during the beginning of summer when I was trying to find a rail for my G2. Unfortunately they didn't understand what I was talking about with the G2 model. IE that it's an AR15 form for the handrails but needs a specific barrel nut, so it's neither AR15 or AR10 spec. But... they did tell me they have an AR10 version of their rail they were just finishing up. Should be out by now or very soon if not. For a heavier DM rifle I would definately give one a look. I have one on an AR15 and really like it. Sort of the new version of the no longer available Badger ordnance rail as seen on the DND rifles. But nicer and not so heavy. Worth looking into. Would work well and look great. Especially with a PRS stock.

Heheh, I'm easily distracted. Plus I need to buy a bunch of scopes. That being said the LMT is on the short list of rifles I need to get scoped and shooting. Too many rifles not enough scopes. Just stole the scope from the LR308 and put it on a SSG3000 bolt action. Thinking either SSIII or HD5 scopes for the next batch, but that will be later on. Also looking at changing up the furniture on the AR10T DND that I bought last summer. It came with A2 OD furniture. Thinking FDE with PRS stock would be better for it.
Half a dozen of S&B scopes in various magnification, should buy you some peace, scope wise... Lol... JP.

That's a bit out of my price range. I did however buy 5 of the Zeiss Conquest scopes at once about 6 years ago to solve a similar problem. Worked out well. Have to wait a bit then see if I'm going Zeiss HD5 or Sightron SIII. Might mix them. I have a couple NF right now as well but that's a bit above what I want to spend on most of my rifles. Yes S&B are excellent, but the others are very good and do the job at a price point that allows me to buy more rifles. Maybe some day I'll have S&B. I considered it for my 50BMG as the previous owner had the perfect one. The only issue was the short eye relief. Have to say, glad I went NF with the longer eye relief instead. Safer with the 50.
