Prior to getting into pistols full time I tried out the CZ pistols, they were ok, but I didn't like the way they felt or shot. I've always liked Beretta's 92 series. They're comfortable to hold and shot well enough, but I couldn't afford one when I started shooting (for a while there you couldn't get a 92 series pistol for under $1000 what was up with that?!), and opted to cut my teeth with cheapo Norinco 1911s instead. The 1911 thing was short lived though. The 1911 is a small gripped gun probably designed for small handed people and one-handed shooting IMHO. I even tried the higher end 1911s like Colts and STIs, but there wasn't much difference aside from finish in comparison to the Norcs. Then I got into Sigs for a while. They worked alright, and I could shoot the P229 in 40SW like a barn on fire, but the P226 was fat and uncomfortable in my hand, while the P229 was too small for my bear paws to comfortably grab. The P220 was probably just right, but again, the grip was slimmer than I wanted and I started looking more closely at Glocks about the same time I had the P220. These days the only pistol I have is a Glock 17 Gen 4 with the large size grip adapter. It's been an uphill battle getting the Glock to shoot tight groups, as I find Glocks tend to highlight any of your poor techniques, but now that I'm getting into the zone, I wouldn't trade it for anything else, and proudly wear a Glock T-shirt.
I chose not to vote though, as I haven't shot even half the guns on the list, and I'd be torn between the Beretta and Glock.
