JARD ADJUSTABLE trigger review for SEAN;
I just installed a JARD
ADJUSTABLE AR 15 trigger in my R 25/AR 10.
The first thing I noticed is that
the trigger itself has a wider pad than usual. The wider trigger pad alone makes for a lighter
feeling trigger, whatever actual weight it is set for.
The second thing was that the trigger was a bit too long to clear the inside of the [ NON-removeable ] trigger guard on my R25.

out with the Dremel and the Cold Blue.
After that,
what should have been a 10 minute job took three hours.
All those adjustable set screws are a REAL pain to set just right.
The way I set up my R25 / JARD trigger, the take up/slack is so light and short that this could almost be called a single stage trigger. The letoff is very light and crisp, and a “surprise break” is achievable. My JARD
ADJUSTABLE kit came with FOUR different weight springs, and stackable washers, so you can set it for just about any weight you would want. Even with the heaviest [ 4 b ]spring, the pull weight is less than any other AR trigger I’ve used.
In the R25, a heavy hammer strike is necessary for reliable primer ignition with the 7.62 NATO ammunition, which may have hard primers. The JARD trigger comes with a lighter, smaller diameter hammer spring, which is NOT replaceable by a regular AR 15 spring. Initially, I was a bit concerned about reliable primer ignition with the lighter hammer and spring that comes with the JARD, however 20 rds of SA 7.62 NATO BALL ignited with no problems, as well as a another 40 rds of various brands of .308 WIN.

I don't know how the long term durability of this system would be, as you are relying on loctite to keep those set screws from creeping out of proper alignment.
And because of all those "adjustments" and screws, I don’t know if I would trust this on a
serious rifle. But,
for target use on the one way range, the JARD sure feels nice.
